Risk Domain 2: Sexual Drive

Below are the report responses of an individual who has sexually offended. His MIDSA responses for each of the two sexual drive scale are presented as they appear in the report followed by an interpretation in red of this domain.

The two sexual drive scales—Sexual Preoccupation and Hypersexuality–are highly correlated, and this respondent reports high levels of both. He admits a high level of sexual preoccupation relative both to community controls (T-Score is > 99% of ACCs*) and adults who have sexually offended (ASOs**: > 87%). Similarly, his actual reported sexual behavior is very high (> 99% of ACCs and > 77% of ASOs). These scores indicate that he has high sexual drive, manifested both in fantasy and behavior.

*  ACC = Adult Community Control Group.
