Downloading the MIDSA Installer

To download the MIDSA Installer, click on the link provided in the installer email. It will either download to the Downloads folder or to the folder you specify.

Double-click on the MIDSA.tar. Install MIDSA.dmg will appear.  

Double-click on the Install MIDSA.dmg.

A MIDSA disk icon will appear:

Double click on the MIDSA Disk icon. Then the following will appear.

Drag the MIDSA Ball icon to the Applications folder. Navigate to the MIDSA application in the Applications folder and secondary click (right-click or command-click), then choose Open. You will get the following message:

Click Cancel.

Repeat the secondary click and choose Open.  This time you may get a similar message, but it will have an Open button. (You may have to do this twice to get the dialog box with the Open button.)  Click it and MIDSA will open.

If this does not work, it may be because of your Privacy & Security settings. The video below shows you how to fix that problem:

If you wish to launch MIDSA from the dock, click on the MIDSA icon in Applications and drag it to the dock.
